I've been watching for these Chinese Lanterns - they've either been mowed down by the city (probable) or haven't come up yet where they usually do

@bella_ss You are right. Milanie has identified these as Chinese Lanterns.

@milaniet Thanks for identifying this plant. I've read that it is invasive so I may have to try move it from the middle of my rock garden.
