My get-pushed partner Julie @julieco challenged me to do a montage of my daily life. I usually check the sky as I begin my day. Since the color changes so fast, and my kitchen has a large east window, I try to watch for the best photo opportunity. I also spend time in the garden, either watering flowers, looking for insects, or checking the butterfly bush to see what might be visiting. Since my mother and stepfather live close, I'm usually in contact with them frequently. Saturday evening the family gathered for my stepfather's 85th birthday, so I included a photo of the IHOP staff singing. At the end of my day, I can be found on the west side of the house hoping to catch a glimpse of a spectacular sunset.
I apologize for sporadic commenting this week. I have been trying to use Adobe Photoshop CC and I successfully made a film strip to use as part of my montage. But I misplaced the camera card with photos taken last weekend. I hope it is in the classroom I subbed in last week. So, armed with new photos, I tried to copy them into the file with the film strip but could not get the copy feature to work. Since I am subbing the next two weeks for the high school art teacher who is traveling abroad to a family reunion, I'm hoping her photography students will be able to help me. If I'm successful, I will post an updated challenge photo later.
Julie @julieco This isn't the montage that I planned, but it will have to work now. As I stated above, I had hoped to use a filmstrip design layout. I'm determined to finish what I started, so I'll tag you when I repost.
