Gerry I'm (hoping) to be going sailing around Corfu, can I ask some advice? Here in UK we're very much shopping but no cash and using contactless card. I want to support local supermarkets, shops and tarvernas, should I assume its similar in Greece with card transactions the norm or bring cash and ATM card!!?? Fingers crossed we get there.
@30pics4jackiesdiamond Ηey thanks! of course,i can help.I have been to the UK and i know how popular contactless transactions are.About Corfu, most Hotels,restaurants,shops etc will accept contactless card payment.You should carry cash if you visit small villages or if you buy something on the street.
@gerry13 Thanks Gerry!! It will be small harbours and villages so I'll expect a mixture. So excited to be in Greece again, fingers crossed they let us in and out again!! I'll look for some lovely doorways to post!! xx
