52 Portraits of Me challenge - Week 1

I'm thinking that I'll do a few more challenges this year. Here is the 1st one - the "52 Portraits of Me" challenge, set up by Sheralee. The 1st week challenge is "Beginnings" and for the people that know me, I'm standing in front of my much loved flowering gum tree in the iPhone selfie - and it is "beginning" to flower for the year (maybe a photo of the flower tomorrow!). Needless to say, this photo can also be about re-starting 365 after my 15 month absence. Or because it is the beginning of another year. Lots of beginnings! Welcome to my 52 portraits of me challenge!
