These bears all arrived in Australia accompanied by myself or family members. They immigrated from England, America, Denmark, Germany, Ireland, Finland, Greenland & France.
# THANKYOU to all 365 friends that have taken the time to comment on my past 6 photos. I really appreciate your comments and it's a great end to my day to read them all. I'm very pushed for time at the moment so please accept this as a big grateful thankyou :)
A Fav for the work involved in escorting all these bears to the beach and getting them arranged for this photo. The inclusion of the globe was wonderful too seeing as these stuffies are from all over the world. Neat idea for a picture and well done.
@hermann@anazad511@thresheg@linnypinny@cejaanderson@fjmom@lyndemc@elisasaeter@pyrrhula Thanks all for your wonderful comments on this collection of bears - very much appreciated. I thought of the globe idea earlier but then as to where to set them up was an issue. So being a cool grey day I thought secluded part of our beach would be fun! No one else was there so I was safe :) Thanks - and can'y believe they made the TP! @darthkitty@junep Paddington is always a favourite. He was an early addition to the collection arriving in 1992. It was my first trip overseas and while in London we stayed near Paddington station - so I just had to buy him! Thanks :) @lynnilou I'd love a bear from South Africa, but I haven't been there! On my wish list :) @ladymagpie Next time I take the bears to the beach I will take them in their bathers so you will have some more BARE facts :) @tellefella Hope your grandkds enjoy these! You can imagine what mine are like when they visit! They just don't know which ones to play with first :)
What a clever idea of including the luggage, globe, and passport with all those really neat teddies. I've collected them, too, and so has my daughter. Amazing how many versions of bears there are. Wonderful composition with nice color against the seas.
@dollycreek@milaniet Thanks. They are all worldly bears with their own stories to tell! The German bear came in his own case! There are so many bears that have made it to my house - this is the 5th photo, and there's plenty more to come on wet, dull days when I gather them up! Thanks for lovely comments :)
This is a wonderful colourful composition. I love bears and this deserves a million Favs just for putting the smile on my face!! I've got my meerkats on the windowsill of my office at work so that I can see them each day. I'm such a big old softie and perhaps some people might think it's time I grew up but I never will
