At the Sale Botanical Gardens there are man made lakes in the wetland area. It is a haven for bird life! The egrets were roosting in the trees while the ducks, water hens, geese & pelicans were lazing on a small island. My brother lays claim to developing this area when he was the engineer at the council :)
