An elephant in the canola! by gilbertwood

An elephant in the canola!

Went for a 2 hour drive today looking for this sight as it's very windy and much good for outdoor activities. A similar photo was in our local paper a while ago so decided to find it! This is Mt Elephant at Derrinallum but I had to drive around it to find where the canola was in relationship to capture it. I found it :)
Wow, my cousins used to live there, mad my grandparents used to own the supermarket/thrifty link hardware store. I have climbed to the top of that hill/Mountain, many years ago. I recognised it straight away.
Also a big fave for a trip down memory lane.

@gilbertwood my relatives have moved on. My uncle, who was a teacher at the local school now lives in Ballarat. My grandparents retired and now live in Kielor. I do have some great memories there. Including skiing on (Not so) Deep Lake in summer.
