SOOC. Following on from the glorious colours of the moon last night, the sun was spectacular this morning too! The day went on to be a 40C (104F) degree day again and luckily I spent the afternoon swimming :) This will be my last colourful sun/moon shot as the clouds are rolling in and we are going to get rain with temperatures of only 18C (65F) for the next 4 days. Yuk!
Why our sunsets are the same last night...we are looking towards the southern ocean...even though we are at different ends of the coast if Victoria
Nice shot.
what a shot Denise....fabulous light and composition...great that the kayak is centre stage with the sun....we have copped a big electrical storm at about 4pm and its still with us...no power so doing my uploads tomorrow..cheers
It is certainly a spectacular sunrise, with enough mist to let the sun dominate your picture without washing it out. It looks like the kayaker is waving to the sun.
Lovely colours, lighting and composition, those temps would suit me better than the ones we have at the moment, it's cold wet and miserable with a cutting wind at the moment
That's one lucky kayaker! What a beautiful sunrise to be out experiencing. Thanks for sharing this beauty to all us in this cold grey stuff! (or some cases cold white stuff)
@hermann Yes sally, I wondered if the smoke may have drifted here to create these amazing colours! @tellefella Thanks John. I closed everything down last night at 9.30 as a huge storm was thundering in! We're suppose to get more today but time will tell :) @darthkitty Please come over any time Kat :) @mbemis@lyndemc@cejaanderson@milaniet@quietpurplehaze Thanks all. Interesting that you picked out the kyaker but not the fisherman in his boat to the left! No sun happening here today :)
Nice shot.
