When packing up my grandmother's belongings many years ago we found this cushion cover that her brother had sent to her from Egypt during WW1. I kept it in a drawer for many years but then decided to get it framed - thought it was worthy of being on display. I also have a photo of Uncle Charlie and 2 post cards he had written to his sister. Thought today is an appropriate day to share. Lest we forget.
Very nice remembrance and so very worthy of a frame!! How awesome! I have a Greeting card that my Grandfather sent my Grandmother before they were married!! I absolutely love things like this!!! Your Great Uncle was a very handsome man!
