What is required to make shadows? SUN :)

We have been honoured to have 2 hours of sunshine in the last 3 days!! So I've been out and about making the most of it :) This was taken from the viewing platform at Logan's Beach where the whales visit - there is one there but she is way out to sea at present. So I had fun taking photos of surfers and children playing in the water even though it's only 14 degrees!
Tomorrow will be a very different story - wind, rain, hail and 9 degrees :(

Fabulous long shadows and lovely to see sunshine. It has been sunny here the last few days and yesterday it reached 19 degrees I believe, but cold weather is on its way from Antarctica over the weekend so I think we will be rugged up.
