This is sadly my July brolly shot - only my sister and I on the beach. We had planned a few group shots but each time there was some hiccup that we just didn't get together! We've have had a very sad month with our special group of 7 girls. Sam, the youngest one has deteriorated quickly now with her cancer. Hugh, the friend's husband who had the heart attack, is now back in Geelong hospital with complications including pneumonia. And now another husband has just been diagnosed with prostate cancer! However none of them will ever walk alone as we all just drop everything to help each other out.
Oh so sad but what a lovely shot and a great thought of never walking alone. Hugs.
This would look really good as a selective colouring shot too with just the umbrella in colour and the rest in b&w. I think that would emphasise the significance of the rainbow on grey days.
a very touching photo and sentiment. Be happy for all the good times that were had through the years together; life is ever-changing. My circles are in flux as well...I'm so happy for yesteryear's photos!
This is a very special brolly capture. So sorry to hear of the sadness that is hitting your group. Nice though that you are all there for each other in your times of need.
A poignant capture and the title reminds me of the song. Stay strong your special friendships will get you through. Sending hugs to you all from across the world
I liked the poignant shot and title - lovely photot - but upon reading your info - I send my best wishes to you all - it did make me tear up - life and friends really are precious and we are pretty fragile creatures too. Best
A rather lovely shot, made all the more meaningful with the story behind it. I'm sorry to hear that so many of your friends are going through a rough time.
Love the emotions this capture invites...especially after reading your commentary. The foot prints speak loud and clear. Sorry to hear such sad news. Good to have close friends!
