...said one little duckling to the other! And I'm concerned now that I have uploaded this photo. It doesn't stand out in other captures I took, but I will go back tomorrow and check it out....with some bread of course :) Bird-3
Lovely capture Denise in wonderful colour and detail, as a point its probably better to skip the bread ducklings have no teeth but appreciate finely chopped fruits, vegetables or greens. but possible these may be a little young even for that:)
Great shot of those little cuties.
Our bird protection union advise us not to feed ducks with bread. They are not use to it and it will even harm them. (that`s what they say)
What a sweetheart! Wildlife does get us worried, I thought a swan had got itself frozen in ice yesterday as it was crying out but after what seemed ages it got up. Maybe it had slipped and hurt itself
I used to breed budgies Denise and one of the problems the chicks used to get was called "Splayed Legs" caused by the hen bird sitting to tightly on the chicks and splaying their legs out.
Used to have to tie the legs together to try to get them in the right position. It was a real bugger.
