Do you see....... by gilbertwood

Do you see.......

a hawk, a misty reflective lake, an echidna, a foggy city skyscape, the ballet "Sleeping Beauty," stage play "My Fair Lady," a restored ornate theatre, champagne, yummy food and 4 hot air balloons at sunrise?
This is what happens when you decide NOT to take your camera to Melbourne :(
Doesn't it always work out like this. Still, it sounds like a fabulous trip away.

Bugger, all those opportunities missed though sometimes you just need to soak up all the goodness without a lens in front of you.

Have you been having a senior moment, I have loads of them. Try going geocaching with your hand-held GPS still back in your kitchen. Supermarket shopping with the shopping list still on the table at home.

Oh no!!!!!!!! Did you accidentally leave it at home Ms Denise?

@gigiflower No sadly I made a decision not to take it! We were just going down to the ballet again (last one only 2 weeks ago) for a quick trip. Big mistake as we saw so much and got into My Fair lady on a whim! That was fantastic though as was the ballet :) have you seen MFL?

@gilbertwood What a shame! Think of this way - IF you had taken your camera, you know that all the good things you missed this time, would not have been there this time around anyway! If it makes you feel any better, we were in Bendigo/Ballarat for the weekend and my camera was not with me as I watched a magnificent sunset over Lake Windermere. Oh well......! I haven't seen MFL in Melbourne - I saw it years and years ago in Sydney (obviously a different cast!)

Oh dear, what a shame. I bet you will never leave your camera behind again.

Typical Victorian day I would have thought.

I can't believe you went on that lovely trip without your camera! Not you! A wonderful 365'er! Oh my, oh my!
June 18th, 2017
Mmmm, that is the way :)
June 18th, 2017
@louannwarren Thanks for your kind words, but the trip turned out far more adventurous than planned :) it was only to be a rushed trip to the ballet (where no cameras allowed!) and home again!

Damn, damn and triple damn. I try not to leave home without my camera, but if I do, I'm bound to see something that I would have loved to photograph. At least you had a great time and you still have the images stored away, just not on camera.

I nearly only take pic.`s on the Sunday when I go out for a photo safary. During the week I`ve other hobby`s ( and work).

How annoying I don't know what is worse no camera or camera and no card/battery.
June 19th, 2017
Haha.... hilarious
June 19th, 2017
Oh well, nothing you can do about it. But I do know the feeling of missed opportunities.
June 19th, 2017
Yeah, know what you mean. Leave it at home and you're bound to see lot's of things. Like the symbolism.
