It was amazing to see families on their scooters everywhere. It was certainly a way of life for them, and I guess they only have 2 children! I'm still playing catch up on Vietnam, and it doesn't help when I have a weekend in Melbourne!
Oh this shot brought back memories of our 3 years in Cyprus. Exactly the same out there.
Once we were driving into Limassol and there was a family on a scooter in front of us. Father, mother and two children. The scooter was driving all over the road and when we eventually overtook them we saw why. The chap who was driving the scooter also had two live chickens in a basket on the front of the scooter and was trying to stop them from flying out of the basket. I have no idea if they all arrived home in one piece.
