Just heard today that these big waves could be hitting the West Coast of NZ.. starting in the South Island .. we will see if they hit our beach .. Well cought
Splendid! When Mum, and latterly Michael were alive I used to visit the Isle of Man regularly. Michael lived 5 minutes from the sea; I was able to have all the 'fixes' I needed. We're an hour from the coast...not the same as being at the end of the road. The sea is what I miss the most. Water antics like this are a constant reminder of the sea’s power and force. Just splendid, thank you!
@julzmaioro Let me know how NZ fairs with this swell :) Where abouts do you live? @joansmor it is interesting, but I've never heard of anyone being washed off - some get mighty wet though! @s4sayer Glad i can help you "experience" this mighty sea :) The sea is certainly captivating and I am so pleased to have it just down the road! @judithdeacon I have no idea how the seals react - all I know is that they are nowhere in sight!
