There once was a lake

The lakes at Tower Hill are drying up fast! We really need our autumn break to occur - we have drizzling rain this weekend, but not much to register as rain.

it's so desperate - here everything is lush and green, but underneath the water tables are very low so it's not what it seems

What a dramatic image! We certainly experience dry lake beds during the drought as well, though this winter's rains have done a great deal to begin turning it all around. We're not there yet, but headed in the right direction and I hope it's soon the same for you!!!
