Loads of wood by gilbertwood

Loads of wood

My sister sadly had to have a large tree cut down near their decking. Luckily though, they have many more trees on their property which are fine.
Looks like loads of nice cosy fires coming up for your Winter!

It’s so nice that the wood is cut for fireplace burning.

Hopefully someone can find a good use for the wood! It makes an interesting photo to study.

It's always sad to lose trees but it makes an interesting image :)

Interesting suject and capture Denise, its so sad to see trees chopped down we need every one of them, woodburners have their own environmental issues to but still much better than burning coal or gas:)

It is a sad thing to have to say good bye to a tree that's been with the family for ages. I like the variety of color in the circular patterns of the wood.

Cool looking interior of the logs. Could make some interesting objects of some kind with those. Nice capture.

Looks like a late gum-tree. It'll make good fire-wood if you have open fires.

We have a woodpile, nicely stacked...until a storm undid it, big time! It's been too hot to re-stock, so am hoping as the weather cools, I'll be able to...do it all again...can't wait -(
