4000 bike riders later! by gilbertwood

4000 bike riders later!

On our way to Portland today we encountered 4000 bike riders heading in the opposite direction! This was the Great Victorian Bike Ride from Robe (the Limestone coast) to Torquay on the Great Ocean Road - 652kms (405 miles) What a ride!! Taken through the front window.
Omw, that sure is a lot and a long ride.

Wow! What a ride! How many days does this ride take, do you know?

@pusspup @louannwarren It's a 10 day bike ride. Or you can do a 5 day ride - either first half or second half.

They must be training for the Paris-Brest-Paris which takes place every 4 years - 1200km... non stop!

Now why doesn’t something interesting like that happen to me? Nice collage!

Oh crikey, it'd be a bit difficult to cross that road. I can't imagine how anyone can ride a bike that far without getting blisters on their backsides.

That’s a long way to cycle! Nice set of images.
