On the fifth day of Christmas

My camera gave to me -
Five olden bears.
4 brolly girls.
3 Aussie emus.
2 hungry swallows.
And a koala in a gum tree :)
The one 2nd ton the left could be my Ted’s brother. And yes, I was imaginative enough to name him Ted, he’s just turned 55

Love all the details in this picture, the decorations, the sweets in Christmas colours... and of course the bear family.

What a fun bunch they look all together. Hope they enjoyed their little party 😊

I've been eager to see what #5 would be as it really stands out in the song. What a great choice!

Lovely old bears.......I'm guessing some of them are around 50 years old ?

You have some old ones here Denise. It looks like they’ve been getting ideas from the Brolly Girls too.😊

These bears look well loved and festive in their Santa hats but not too old to party.

I missed this one earlier. Shouldn't that be "Elderly"?

@terryliv No you goose! Olden as in golden :)
@merrelyn They are good friends with the brolly girls :)
@onewing Yes Babs - I started collecting bears when my youngest daughter was born 32 years ago!!
@cutekitty They won't tell me their ages but i suspect they are older than 50 even :) I do know that the middle one is 78 though!
@janeandcharlie Thanks Jane - I thought olden would be a good substitute for golden :)
@paul10 Yes Paul - they all drank and ate as soon as the photo shoot was over :)
@quietpurplehaze I decided the two smaller bears were the "children" Hazel, so they had to have the lollies instead of wine!!
@yorkshirekiwi He could well be your Ted's brother! You have at least named yours - I have so many bears that they never really got names :) The middle bear is 78 years old - he is the only one I know definitely :)

@gilbertwood WEll why didn't you say Golden. Is your G key broken? Now there's a line there for you :-)
