Broken Windscreen??

I have been guilty of posting such images in the past when I was daft enough to play with a reversed lens. No idea, but no doubt you will tell us...

at first I thought as Julia has said, broken windscreen, but wondering if it is a glass design on a vase or something?

I'm thinking it some kind of crazed glass object - nice catching of the light in it

It does look like broken automotive glass, but I wouldn't have thought of it on my own. Really quite pretty with the glints of sunlight.

Frozen honeycomb? Wet, used bubble wrap?

Shattered glass is what springs to my mind. Whatever it is, it's very effective :)

It’s marvelous in black and white (and silver!), whatever it is.

@julzmaioro @jesika2 @phil_sandford @koalagardens @featherstone26 @beryl @janeandcharlie @merrelyn @louannwarren @ladymagpie @momamo @susiemc @robz @wendyfrost @milaniet @rickster549 @golftragic @777margo Thanks for all playing along with this :) You all were mostly right that it is shattered glass. I had just arrived at my sister's place when they were looking at this - a 1.5 cm (quarter of an inch) glass safety fence had just "imploded" They didn't know why at the time, but after googling found that a tiny fault can do this when the weather varies quickly - frost to sunshine! Well that's the best they can come up with :) Thanks again.

Bloody hell.

Oh dear, did not realize safety glass can implode due to weather change
thanks for the update
