The lesser visited sights

These sights have far less tourists as they are further along the Great Ocean Road past the 12 Apostles. The Arch, London Bridge & The Grotto
We went to all of those places when we did our tour.. great trip..

At first glance, I thought this was Durdle Door in Dorset, England! What a fantastic piece of coastline.

Three lovely images which have brought back some very happy memories. I was there in 1994 and saw all of these. What a spectacular stretch of coastline!

We did the drive a couple of years ago. We used to spend a lot of time down at the great ocean road when we were younger way before the tourist stop and board walk to the twelve apostles. It is such a beautiful coastline.

They make a beautifully matching collage. Was the London Bridge the one that collapsed several years ago?

@louannwarren @casablanca @angelikavr Thanks for your lovely comments. The great Ocean Road is definitely one of Australia's most favoured destinations. in fact the three R's are the most advertised for tourists - Road (GOR), Rock (Uluru) and Reef (Great barrier reef). Unfortunately so many tourist get caught out with the distance between all of these in our vast country! I'm lucky I live at the end of this road :)
@sugarmuser Thanks Sharon. And yes I remember it all long before tourism :)
@robz Thanks Rob. Yes this is the bridge that collapsed! I luckily have photos of it whole and the day after it collapsed. I posted them a few years ago :)

Lovely triptych. I may have told you before but when David was 3 he saw a photo of London Bridge on the Great Ocean Road in an encyclopaedia and he said one day I want to see that. Unfortunately when we arrived in Australia, it fell down before we got to see it. We have seen it since though, but not when it was complete.

Great triptych Denise. Good to hear there are some spots still relatively tourist-free.
