Further to our visit to an aquatics shop yesterday to buy some fish for our pond, this is a view of part of the tropical fish section. I always think it looks effective when there are rows of tanks with large shoals of fish. Hard to take a shot as the shop is very busy on Saturdays.
We don't have a fish tank. We did in the past and ended up with a large tank with just one catfish in. We called him "Jaws". He would eat any new additions to the tank so he lived in the tank on his own for several years. He would sleep under the rocks during the day and come out at night. More than one visitor to our house would gaze at the tank and eventually ask why we had an empty fish tank!
Now we just have a small garden fish pond. The 3 Blue Orfe we bought yesterday seem to have settled in OK.
