We had planned to go for a walk somewhere yesterday but it rained all morning and we abandoned the idea. In the early afternoon, the rain stopped and we drove to this nearby forest parking area, put on our walking shoes and did the 2 1/4 mile circular route.
We didn't see any other people until we were nearly back at the car park and a couple of dog-walkers appeared.
