Many years ago I started a project to make a patchwork quilt. I sewed lots of fabric squares and then life took over. I had 2 children and started a full time job and the project was put away.
Now I have retired and I was considering what to make next, I remembered the quilt. I went upstairs and found it. I spent yesterday afternoon sewing some of the squares together. This is the project so far!
When I started it in the late 1980's, I chose the colours to match our bedroom. We still live in the same house but the bedroom has had several changes of colour scheme since then.
