Help! Snake! - Yard Art 21.

This poor galah is in dire straits, trapped in a blue pouch with a snake coiling around and poised to strike. No wonder his comb is standing on end. Galahs don't eat snakes, so I'm afraid he's doomed.
hehehe...it still amazes me what people have in their yards in your area :)

and even more strange is that he's trapped in a fish/mermaid-looking pouch haha, soooooo weird

Who would do such a thing to a poor galah? Everything you shoot is so vivid. Always a treat to view.

Hah! I just noticed that the theme this week is VIVID!

@alisongbradshaw It amazes me, too, Alison; @taidster Tadii, yes, but although they look like fish scales I think they're meant to be feathers! And the blue colour is probably meant to be grey as is the other colour of galahs! But it does really look like a mergalah! @ldpaul Okay, Linda, I'll tag it for the theme; @ladydi @justkariherself Thanks, ladies.

Great photo. I have never seen things like that in yards here.

Another cool find, you're on a streak.

Not sure how people come up with these ideas. It looks like this poor bird is trapped inside the bottom 1/2 of a fish? Looks like they have some other art nearby. Fun find! Fun shot!!

@molizard Yes, see my comment above to taidster. Oh yes, more yard art in this garden. All will be revealed in due course.

November 30th, 2010
@zodiaque Oh no! Definitely not my garden! I find this stuff in other people's yards.

What a cool shot. The bird has a concerned look on its face.

Vividly creepy!! I feel like I should step in and rescue that poor galah.

Along with very different flora and fauna, you've shown us very different garden art!

That's a little scary for yard art!! Great color, but I think I would have left the snake in the woods. lol!

I think this yard art would frighten me - I'll have the galah and thanks but no thanks for the snake!!! Nice series - you must be on the lookout for them wherever you go.
