This is a gigantic sculpture that sits near the shore of Sydney Harbour at Walsh Bay. It was begun by well-known artist, the late Brett Whiteley and completed by his wife after his death. Its actual title is Black Totem II, but of course it's known simply as The Egg. It's not far from the crushed car that I posted recently, and both form part of a sculpture walk in this area of sydney.
