I wish I could show all these to you but space (and time) prevent that. These are some of the beautiful ceramic and glass mosaic panels that decorate the outside walls of the amenities blocks at the local beach village of Scotts Head. There are at least ten of these altogether, very large, and depicting many facets of local life: birds, fish, turtles, whales, trees, music, surfboarding, Aboriginal culture, shells, etc, etc. Australia has a tradition of beach art, often funded by local government bodies and sometimes by state government grants. A celebrated local artist made and installed these in 2001.
