Callistemon

A new Callistemon has burst into flower in my garden. This is one that I've never seen before, having brought it from the Northern Tablelands a couple of years ago. It is not a Bottlebrush, but the flower is similar. It is low-growing with long, drooping branches and this flower appears on the end of each branch. It is pink with touches of yellow. I don't think this one would be in general cultivation as the seed was gathered from the wild. We have so many different Callistemons here it is lovely to find one that's unusual.
Great shot. I love so much Callistemon, probably beacus it bears memories for me from a tree just acros the street of my childhood home which I could see through the window.

This image is great. I passed over it the first time, then opened the link and was stunned by the color. It looks like fiber optics.
