Two Weeks After the Flood by girlie

Two Weeks After the Flood

For the July myworld challenge.
This is our local bridge, just a few hundred metres from my front door, spanning the Macleay River. Approximately two weeks ago the river turned into a raging beast and rampaged through our village. You wouldn't think so from this photo but it has the dubious honour of being the second fastest-flowing river in the southern hemisphere when in flood and on those occasions it is a sight to behold. The water came three-quarters of the way up the pylons. This was taken at dusk when I also took the previous posting's sunset shot and when the reflections were unusually good.
WOW..it does look sleepy.Great processing.
