Jacaranda Time

I've been away for a while and came home to find the jacarandas in bloom all across the neighbourhood. This beautiful South American tree has adapted well to the warm climate in Australia and livens up the landscape in late spring.

What a fantastic tree. The jacaranda's here aren't as good as this. don't know why.

@onewing Thanks, Babs, for your comment. Maybe you live a bit further south? Not sure where you are but it seems the warmer the climate the more brilliant the colour. They were fabulous in Brisbane when I was there last week, also.

They are so stunning. The Jacarandas in the Warwick area are lovely at the moment, we seem to be a little behind Brisbane. Lovely capture Robin :)

This is beautiful! I have to say that not every Jacaranda has the same depth of colour, we were on the Tablelands and some of them were really deep purple.
