@amyhughes - funny thing about bokeh. before this project I'd seen bokeh shots and thought they were the coolest thing ever. Then I tried it with the star homemade lens cover thing and thought it was cool, but never in a million years could think of WHY I would ever use such a technique. Now, it seems like I notice bokeh in half the photos I take, not even trying for it. I notice it in commercials, movies, etc on tv- they use it all the time. I think for the rest of my life I'll have to start referring to things as "before 365" and "after 365" -at least photography wise anyway. I'm a completely different photographer than I was when I started! 1)sorry for the long reply 2)can I really be calling myself a "photographer"??
1) that's ok, I feel the same way! I thought it was so amazing and now I notice it everywhere. I feel pretty special saying bokeh too since most people don't know what that is :) I could say it all day. Bokeh bokeh bokeh. Haha and 2) um, YES!!! You are a brilliant photographer! Who would've ever known???
@girlincamo The last time DBF and I watched a movie, I kept seeing bokeh. I swear, I'd never noticed it before. You're right--there is life before 365/after 365. :)
