Victory is mine!!! Yep, that's it, I'm done!! WooHoo!! A photo a day for a year...now what's next? I dunno, we'll see. This is a selfie of me and my Jeep in Victory Lane at Bristol Motor Speedway. I'm a race fan, so getting access to the track for this photo means a lot. Now, every time I see a race here, I can say, "I've been there! Right there- in victory lane!!!"
I know that over the last year, I've learned so much about photography, by forcing myself to shoot every single day I've manged to improve beyond what I would have ever dreamed. I've shot every day, with the end result being some very great photographs, others pointless stock photos. Either way I'm very proud of what I've turned in over the last year and i've learned how to step out of my comfort zone (this selfie being the biggest leap out of the comfort zone!) Anyway, I appreciate all the comments, all the times I've made the popular page. This is a great community and all the support has kept me going when taking a photo was the absolute last thing I'd want to do, I kept snapping. A big thanks to my buddies that started this project with me @clicketynix@printgirl@ogormansnaps@txgirl - and a big thanks to Niki for suggesting we do this! My freakishly talented cousin @amyhughes has been a huge inspiration and motivator. Thanks to all those followers out there, who tirelessly comment, even when you probably wanted to say, "geeze, another macro?" HAHAHA! Ya'll are AWESOME!!
I am excited for you. And kind of sad it is over. But most of all very proud of you. You did what you set out to do and it was so much fun to watch. You are so stinkin' talented I have to scratch my head sometimes at the fact that we shares genes! I know you will keep on with your fabulous photography and I am glad I am your sister and get to see them. And of course I love the VL shot - so totally cool. Great finale!!!
Cool picture! And congratulations on 365! Awesome accomplishment, as I sit here about 100 days behind you I'm realizing really how hard it is at this point. You've done a fabulous job throughout!
I hope you decide to stay around and visit.
What a Great photo finish!! :)
Hope to see you here once in a while. All the best!
