@mejbronant its a gold finch, and they are real dull looking in the winter and as spring and summer follow they turn this brillant vivid yellow. thanks so much for the comment and the fav too!!!

@glb484 How interesting. We have a goldfinch here but it's nothing like this and doesn't change colour in winter - it just has a gold streak in it's wing. I shall look for a photo of one from last week and upload it now!
