Woodland Gardens is my local plant nursery and is HUGE, as well as hugely popular (and deserved so.) Started in 1939 in a front yard selling Pansies, it remains a family business, and has grown to 8 acres, 18 greenhouses, and a large, tempting retail store. I began going there in the mid 60's with my mom, and I continue enjoy it as much as ever.
After a 4 year absence due to health reasons, (see my profile) I posted for the 1st time yesterday, and it is SO good to be back, that I had to post again today.

It's a serene and cheerful place.........if I remember to, I go there for a "pick-me-up" when I'm feeling low down. They even play classical music in the store and main greenhouses.
