Brachina gorge

I took this shot last year in the Flinders Ranges, but hadn't got round to processing it until today. Apologies for my intermittent postings, life is exceptionally chaotic right now, and will remain so for at least the next fortnight. But I shall try to post more often.
Excellent shot - love the processing

Excellent and a wonderful rock formation. I must ask David what these rocks are, he is the geologist in the family.

Wonderful colours in those cliffs. I'm especially drawn to the tall tree on the right.

How wonderful to see this. Great to see your post but we'll all be here still for however long it takes for things to settle down for you :)

We have to live our lives as they happen not as we wish or plan. So take care of things and we will look forward to your return. This is wonderful.

Love the strength in this shot, the rocks are amazing and the trees surviving, well...

@onewing I have a feeling they're some kind of mudstone and very old. Possibly Cambrian, if my memory serves me correctly.

Terrific processing on this, Marnie! It reminds me of a canyon the boy and I visited called Spearfish Canyon in South Dakota (USA). As for sporadically posting, do what you can when you can. 365 will still be here and we'll still love seeing your work when things have calmed down. You and your health come first!

Hectic? Chaotic? Hope life settles down into a gentle routine for you soon
