The laneway by golftragic

The laneway

Another of my photo-art efforts; one which has occupied me for more hours than I care to count. The (four) photos are my own, the other material comes from various sources. One of my friends today called this kind of photo-art a 'tapestry', and I rather like that characterisation.
Excellent work, worth all the hours spent I'd say

This is really tastefully done - and so good that you had time to complete this while your knee had you slowed from other activities. Fav

Fantastic, I love this. I could see this as a canvas on a wall, Brilliant. I recognise the girl street art from the Powerhouse Museum. don't know where the rest of the pictures are from though. A big fav.

@graemestevens You're very kind, good sir. I did enjoy the end result of the time and effort.

@dide Thanks Dianne. I dithered around for some days before anything would 'gel' in my little grey cells. But things gradually started falling into place. Thanks for the fav.

@onewing Thanks very much Babs, I'm wondering whether or not to get a canvas done of this one - and then what the heck to do with it if I did! You're right about the girl. The tiny little blue butterflies are also from the powerhouse, the crane from a shot in Melbourne CBD and Les in the laneway ditto.

A beautiful piece of creative art! Very clever. I have no idea how to do anything like this. It would look great on a wall.

@ninaganci Dunno about the relaxation Nina, got a tad stressful in places. But fun nevertheless.

@pamknowler Thanks Pam, I think I will get this one printed on to canvas. I had a bunch of photos printed on to canvas a while back to go to an art show. I still have most of them sitting in my study!! More cautious nowadays.

@golftragic I have done the same in the past thinking I would be able to sell them and still have them in a cupboard! Only get this printed if you have somewhere to hang it or you have a buyer! Unless you are really good at marketing yourself you can spend a lot of money with no return!
