Neighbourhood 29 by golftragic

Neighbourhood 29

I took the car in for service at 7.30am and walked back home, crossing the Barwon on the Macintyre footbridge. This bloke came along at just the right time.

Apologies for lack of comments, our internet has been off and on all day and I've been trying to fix it.
Great timing!

Hi Marnie
I know exactly where you are 😊
I love the autumnal colours in the reflections and the rower’s wake.
Nights and mornings starting to cool down, hope you have been keeping well in this very strange time we are living in at the moment. Fav

You must be very clever to fix the internet! Also very clever to get the light and reflections in your magic journey back home! fav

@dianeburns Hello stranger, long time no see. We're fine so far as the virus is concerned, thank you. Unfortunately both of us have simultaneously got problems with various bodily parts that have decided to arc up again.

@maggiemae Turned out to be a temporary fix unfortunately. I've spent most of two days on this problem and learned a lot including that the modem is playing up bigtime and that I need a geek to fix it.

@gilbertwood @graemestevens @marlboromaam @merrelyn I thought it was very good of him to wait till I was out on the bridge before he paddled past. Very kind man.

@joysabin The car's fine thanks Joy, my key (that opens the car remotely etc) was falling apart and needed replacing. I thought it'd be a simple replacement, silly me, a new key not only cost nearly $AU400 (cUS$250) but it had to be coded and paired with the car and would take at least one and a half hourse. We only have one car so couldn't a bunch of other stuff till I got it back, and because there's a courtesy pickup to take me back there I couldn't start any of my bigger home jobs because I didn't know when the driver would come to get me. Internet fix? read my reply to @maggiemae

@golftragic Oh Marnie, that doesn't sound good. But I see you are still walking, I suppose golf has been out of the question at the moment anyway? Will you be okay to resume golf again?

There's something very calming about this- I especially like the wake of his kayak flowing behind him. Good shot!
