Surprise, surprise

This little flower was growing in an expanse of rocks and bare ground. Mother Nature is truly amazing. My thanks to @annied who tells me that it's a Wurmbea stellata (Liliaceae) or Starry Star-lily.

@annied No, not this time. We were only there for one full day, neither of us can tackle the walks and the 4WD trips were day-long and horrendously dear. We spent a week at Rawnsley Park a few years ago and saw wallabies and lots of other stuff that time. The geology was my favourite 'thing'.
