Signs of our times: Mk 2 Sept 4

Liquor store attached to supermarket.
What a great sign you found Marnie, so much to see and read.

...and they wait until the last line to tell you they'll bring the booze right to your door?!

Great sign Marnie! Good to know the booze shop is being so kind and thoughtful!

They forgot to say 'Please allow an extra 10 minutes for your visit because it takes that long to read all the instructions'

Babs made me laugh!! Yes, defo a sign of the times, here too.

@ludwigsdiana Yep, but since I don't buy my booze there, I just keep motoring on into the supermarket.

@Weezilou Typical!

@pamknowler Not my booze shop Pam, far too small but handy for many people. The booze shop I go to does Click and Collect and they bring it out to the car!

Another great find :)

Great sign. I hope that they won't be needed over here, but I'm certainly not counting my chickens yet!!
September 4th, 2020
Awesome sign, we need more businesses around here doing the same.
September 4th, 2020
@momamo We could do with a bit of humour round here.
September 5th, 2020
@gilbertwood Thanks Denise, how's tricks in 'bool?
September 5th, 2020
@merrelyn I hope not, they're a pain in the proverbial.
September 5th, 2020
@aikiuser Thanks Jen, hope you stay safe.

@golftragic just plodding and doing lots of walking with camera in hand for some fun! Hoping with all my heart we get some positive news tomorrow from Dan - or I'll you'll hear me scream from down here!!!!!

Goodness it's like reading War and Peace- well, actually I never read that but I did read a theology book for seminary that was just as thick! You've got quite a collection going here.
September 6th, 2020
@olivetreeann I must admit I've never read War and Peace either, but I did see the film, both parts of the 2-film whole 6 or so hours. But I am currently nearly half-way through Thomas Picketty's Capital and Ideology which, at 1100+ pp would give W&P a run for its money. As for the sign/s Australia seems to be addicted to signs.

@gilbertwood I've just been listening to Dan, and it sounds pretty hopeful for regional Vic with the only not so good bit being a 'close watch' on the 'Geelong corridor', ie us and Colac. I just hope the covidiots behave themselves. If the weather gets nice we'll be in for problems with people who think they can go the beach, of course.

phht like anyone would believe that :)
