Blue#4

"First contact" is a sculpture standing at the shore of the Swan River, by the indigenous artist Laurel Nannup.
The work depicts the arrival of European settlers to Perth. As the European boats arrived, the local Noongar people believed that these ships were their past ancestors returning from the sea.
