Ritual

As it happens it can be extremely difficult to summon a denizen of the Underworld with a limited knowledge of the occult, no salt or chalk and only one candle.
So far the only thing that I have successfully summoned are the occasional ghostly remnants of last nights Red Lentil Tikka Masala.

This another one for the ONS challenge, today's theme being "Minimalist". And of course, being me, there had to be a flame there somewhere!
It's certainly minimalist Graeme... works for me though!

@vignouse Thank you - my other shot was a single grain of rice but I thought that may be taking minimalism too far.

Definite minimal. Very nice. Crud, I got to think of something for tomorrow (in the US)

@adambralston Thanks - my most dreaded theme is Landscapes, so I wish you luck while I wrack my brain trying to come up with something for that!

@graemestevens No but, a single grain of rice (on white?)... that I'd love to see!

Minimus minimalist. Artfully composed shot which lights all my candles. Love it.

April 17th, 2014
Ho Shit! Sorry Graeme! I like this picture, very much. FAV!
April 17th, 2014
@daneau Ha! Thanks very much, appreciated as always - and don't worry about the use of "shit"...I'm the one that had the curry!
April 17th, 2014
hah! perfect! will you be doing flame shots all week to fulfill the challenge?
April 17th, 2014
@northy sadly not - one of the themes is "Landscape", so unless I can find a handy hill to sent fire too I might be a bit stuck...
April 17th, 2014
you could always get creative - i have these decorative rocks in my backyard - a close up shot looks like a lunar landscape... and probably i could stick a lit match in a crevice... uh oh... see what you've done?
April 17th, 2014
@northy I got arrested the last time I tried sticking a lit match in a crevice, but I see your point...I have a couple of days to think on it
April 17th, 2014
