Today I have photographed bread, street markets, a mountain and yet this shot is the one to make the grade. This is about a 5 minute walk from home and taken with my fish-eye lens...and it sets the mood for the next 5 days which is forecast to be rainy, with rain, wind and rain. And it's going to rain.

I really like this against the black! Very "water-color-y" and gentle, with the silhouette against the clouds. Tip of the hat on your many "focuses of the day" as you seek out the shot for posting. Well done, for persistence and results.

Love the darkness of this shot! That's not your face I can see at the top of the cloud is it? May have to show my husband this post, being a Kiwi he says it doesn't rain in NZ but always in the UK (where I come from). Can't beat the sunshine in Oz though so not sure whether I could get many of these moody shots.
