Earlier this week I was playing with fire, with a shot in mind, when my eyebrows and eyelashes had a "fire induced near death experience" and no shot resulted as I was far to busy with a "stop, drop and roll" maneuver to worry about pushing the magic "take photo" button . Last night a passing comment was made that "he could even make ice burn." I like a challenge as much as the next person and as a result here is a photo...Yes, that is some ice and yes, it is on fire...without the aid of photoshop.
Works best on the black background if you have the time.
I am a confirmed and certifiable nutbar with a penchant for skulls, bones, blood, guts, fire and anything slightly peculiar and mostly bizarre. I also...
@ukandie1 It's all done with the power of my mind, some Jedi training, a robust insurance policy, an understanding and tolerant wife and a secluded back yard. Oh, and a fairly potent accelerant. And thanks very much :)
Kewl! Ok, so I'm late, but today I attempted LOW KEY! Loved your pics. Missed it all. Geez, I'm such an awful 365er these days, but thanks for getting me thinking. Keep those brows. They make excellent subjects. ;)
@amandal Thanks very much - still got the brows but it was only just! @cailts Thanks very much :) @darylo I just saw that...and thanks very much, I still have them but it was only just!
Way too cool! :) I'm thinking I would need to "trim" about a foot of hair off before playing with this much fire! :) For the time being, I'm keeping my hair. That renders this type of fire play off limits for me! I'll live vicariously through you!
@taffy Thanks very much, it's starting to grow back @lilminimonka Thanks very much :) @golftragic Thank you...it'll probably grow back twice as thick! @redy4et Thanks - just a little bit of accelerant... @trinda Thanks, much appreciated @annied Thanks...it was the only ice we had! @ceilidh I don't dance, never had. I have the rhythm of a slug. @tracelee Thanks very much, neither can I! @creativefool Thanks, so are thousands of others...apparently... @dide Thanks very much, just had to try @hermann Thanks, nope - real ice, fresh from the freezer! @redpants Thanks, much appreciated @pittcj17 Thank you very much :) @claireuk Thanks - and yes, it was all we had...for some reason... @denisefuller Thank you very much :) @wearing0 I hope so! I can't go to work looking this odd! @voiceprintz Thanks very much - why trim when you can just burn it off! @michaelelliott Thanks very much indeed
@annied Thanks for the link Annie. Graeme, this is awesome. glad to hear your facial hair survived the previous experiment. How sweet of you to have and use heart shaped ice.
@cailts Thanks very much :)
