I was on my way to work this morning and really looking forward to it as well as I knew I had to deal with an historically "difficult" client when I spied this happening. As a result I made a dash for the water front where I successfully got covered in salt spray and laughed at by some sea gulls. It was looking better and brighter before I got there, but thanks to miracle of slow drivers and schoolchildren on bicycles I missed the most spectacular lighting. It's also Friday, which invariably means that I get wine. More than usual anyway.

Ah, Fridays, I remember them: everybody trying to get the s**t of their plates and on to somebody else's before the weekend! Nice stormy pic - very appropriate in the circumstances.

When you are retired, every day is Friday, or Tuesday, or Sunday or whatever bloody day you want it to be. I actually hate the week ends. Everyone who is supposed to be at work keeping the economy afloat are out, clogging up Bunnings, crowding the beaches and generally making my life difficult. I usually stay home and sulk on week-ends. Beautiful shot BTW Graeme. :-)
