We had a slight mishap this morning with our laptop which resulted in us having to spend some time today shopping for a new one...deep sigh. On the upside we have finally moved away from Windows and gone with Apple, complete with Lightroom, so it's hip hip hooray and high fives all round! To reward ourselves, we went to the Te Henui Cemetery this afternoon for some photos...and this one came complete with bokeh shaped suspiciously like an alcoholic beverage receptacle, which could only mean it was home time.

I know this might damage your image But just knew you were one of the White Hats. I've never used a PC. Been Mac since the 1980s, when my Faculty decided that we would all be issued with PCs ($$, of course) I told my Dean to leave the thing in its box, I'd only be using it as a doorstop. By then being on the retirement trajectory and prone to academic tantrums aka hissy fits, she humoured me and a new iMac appeared in my office, and no doorstops.

Stopped reading when you said you have an apple....gone the greenish green of envy and now have to go out. I will get strange looks all day for being green. Will return when normal and finish reading and comment on image. So not friends anymore. It's not fair. You have an apple.

I am all Apple apart from my work issued PC. I love Apple stuff! And Lightroom is awesome, once you get the hang of it you will be in awe oif it's power :)
Still grumpy with you. Still green. But it's not a pleasant trait to be grumpy or envious so I will stop it soon. Please just don't taunt me with too many amazing images.

Welcome to the world of macs! I suspect you'll like it a lot as it's very photo friendly. I'll be interested to know what you think of LR on it. Wonderful use of the flare. Fun bokeh to drive you home!

@graemestevens No I shan't leave that as a black mark Graeme, everyone is entitled to some mistakes in judgement. More seriously, I couldn't possibly have afforded Mac for years, but Deakin Uni came to the party for academic staff, and for some time you could buy the machine you'd had after three years for about $50.
