Ghost Lights by graemestevens

Ghost Lights

More light painting, this time with "glow sticks" instead of fire, with the lights of New Plymouth in the back ground. Nothing amusing has happened today and I'm feeling quite stable for some reason. This may of course change at a moments notice, so watch your backs.
Best viewed on black I should think.
Very cool!!

@kfromnj Thanks very much :)

Makes my eyes ache - and that's a GOOD thing! Fave! :)
October 17th, 2014
Yes, it certainly is quite impressive on black! Love the reflections of city lights in the water....the glow of the light painting provides a nice counterpart to it.

I'm expecting the terminator to step out of that and reign terror. Cool effects and great back lighting.
October 17th, 2014
Graeme Stevens. What are you doing? You are obviously not yourself. very artistic and not black. fav
October 17th, 2014
what an ethereal and lovely sot. very ghostly.
October 17th, 2014
Oh, I must fav this! You leave me no choice. I agree with Paul, where is the terminator?
October 17th, 2014
Wow such a beautiful image! Very creative! Fav!
October 17th, 2014
Fun colors! I like the splash of colors against the golden reflections.
October 17th, 2014
Very cool Graeme!
October 17th, 2014
gorgeous glow! (stability is overrated ;p)

October 17th, 2014
@epcello Thanks very much
October 17th, 2014
I think I would like this picture a LOT even without the light painting. That's just an added bonus! I like the way the lights are reflected in the water - very cool!
October 17th, 2014
@tabarlett Thanks very much - funnily enough I nearly put the version up with the light painting
October 17th, 2014
The globe looks quite surreal against reflections in the background, very creative and cool :)

Sam
Fabulous Mr Stevens. I do love those colours :) FAV x 50!
October 17th, 2014
looks like a neon spider waltzing on the water.
October 17th, 2014
i do like the contrast of colours - glow sticks -------------------ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh yes
October 17th, 2014
I like the circular lines crossing with the horizontal lines, plus (of course) the colors. @terryliv asks a very good question, which you do not have to answer... leave it at lovely, colorful effect.
October 17th, 2014
Fav... Brilliant!
October 17th, 2014
Great shot!
October 17th, 2014
Yep. I agree with all of the above. Very cool shot! :) I got some glow sticks this evening. We'll see how long before I try something similar.

Fantastic shot. Looks really super on black.
October 17th, 2014
Fun light trails
October 17th, 2014
I like the contrasting in colours. The warm of the lights in the background and the coldness of the glow sticks, nice one.
October 17th, 2014
too clever!. I'll lock the door ;)
October 17th, 2014
.. and expect some craziness sometime soon
October 17th, 2014
this is epic! love the different colours!
October 17th, 2014
I do like it best against the black. Stable after a night in bed with all you went to bed with? I'd take that hamster and cucumber to bed again.
October 17th, 2014
Fantastic shot - maybe a calmness has come over you because the weekend is nigh.
