Fading by graemestevens

Fading

Somewhat disappointingly, I had absolutely no time to take a photo of any sort today so here's one I prepared earlier. This was taken on the edge of the stream in yesterday's shot...so Reginald had been there all along...
oooh this is very cool - I knew he was there - I felt him
November 4th, 2014
@annied Did you now...he did mention something about being inappropriately touch and feeling 'dirty' ;)
November 4th, 2014
@graemestevens yep that was me ;-)
November 4th, 2014
Looks like his natural habitat
November 4th, 2014
@newbank It does indeed, but I bought him home and punished him anyway.
@annied I'd be outraged if I had the energy to care ;)
November 4th, 2014
@graemestevens no you wouldn't - liar - you'd be laughing hahahahaha
November 4th, 2014
No footprints to be seen here, so he can do whatever he wants and nobody will notice!
November 4th, 2014
@overalvandaan Yes, you're right, but only because my stamp didn't work on the moss ;)
November 4th, 2014
@annied You saw right through me!
November 4th, 2014
I knew it, it was totally his enviroment. Cool cool shot
November 4th, 2014
@susale Thanks very much :)
November 4th, 2014
He does get around! Looks good in the greenery
November 4th, 2014
Sue
He is a very well travelled dinosaur!
November 4th, 2014
@dibzgreasley Thanks very much :)
@sioux I might have to get him a passport
November 4th, 2014
He looks completely at home nice shot
November 4th, 2014
Lovely shot Graeme.
November 4th, 2014
So green and verdant...great pov and perfect DoF ... Reginald looks like he's sneaking up and getting ready to pounce.
November 4th, 2014
@pinkpaintpot Thanks very much :)
@tonygig Thanks you very much :)
@aecasey He can try and pounce, but I bet he'll be running for the hills soon enough...and thank you very much :)
November 4th, 2014
Reginald could well end up being the unexpected star of the year... and we all know your ego wouldn't handle that very well! I predict a sticky end for the little dino - perhaps we, your followers, should start a 'Save Reginald' petition.
November 4th, 2014
@vignouse Please make all cheques out to cash and post them to me immediately ;)
November 4th, 2014
Sam
I'm ignoring Reginald and I like the detail on that green moss, lichen or grass or whatever it is :)
November 4th, 2014
@gigiflower I don't know what it is either...green stuff...and thank you :)
November 4th, 2014
Sam
@graemestevens I'm imagining Reginald burning ever so slowly in the background - the orange would looks fabulous against the green!
November 4th, 2014
Cool pov and love the detail in the foreground.
November 4th, 2014
@dide Thank you very much :)
@dide Reginald will live forever...but I do have an 'amusing' little fire shot for tomorrow...
November 4th, 2014
he;s looking a bit guilty... been up to some mischief!
November 4th, 2014
@brigette More than likely...he does live with us after all
November 4th, 2014
He looks surprisingly in one piece...
November 4th, 2014
@graemestevens I did and it was quite scary
November 4th, 2014
I'm surprised he's still around. Isn't he aware of the dark spirit lurking.
November 4th, 2014
Excellent DOF. Hello there Reginal :)
November 4th, 2014
:D brilliant! love how you chose to capture this one, adds mystery yet its still quiet scary!! Its a nice series your creating!
November 4th, 2014
You might loose that dinosaur if you let him out.!!
November 4th, 2014
Cool shot, Reginald looks right at home there.
November 4th, 2014
Jurassic park all over again...he has a big daddy lurking in there...careful...all is not as it appears! :)
November 4th, 2014
Amazing reproduction of life on Earth millions of years ago......you must be feeling very old today.
November 4th, 2014
You released him without harming him - well done! :) Love the focus on the foreground!
November 4th, 2014
These Reginald shots really are great and so much fun!
November 4th, 2014
Reginald running free!!! How lovely for him. I like the POV that makes him fit nicely into the surroundings.
November 4th, 2014
@chippy1402 Thanks very much :)
@mamamayerle Thanks very much, appreciated
@lynnilou Thanks very much - I did catch him again though ;)

@nanderson You're right there, he could go up in flames at any moment
@ukandie1 Thanks very much. He look so comfortable that I took him home and punished him accordingly.
@777margo He's having the next few days off. I think he spent too much time being "free"
@amyleewinfield Thank you very much :)
@hermann Thanks very much, much appreciated
@ceilidh He's just stubborn...he'll learn...
@888rachel It's taking me by surprise as well...
@gigiflower Reginald will live forever, but I do have a rather "amusing" little shot for today... ;)
@annied I can imagine - I see myself every morning and I'm still terrified by the sight.
November 4th, 2014
Photo is interesting because of your choice of focus and DoF - but thread really had me laughing.
November 4th, 2014
Great shot, love that Reginald is out of focus
November 4th, 2014
@taffy Thanks very much - they're all nuts! I'm the only normal one!
@ounooi Thanks very much :)
November 4th, 2014
My grandaughter Daisy discovered Dinosaurs today and it is her new favourite word, what a shame we don't live near she could explore (with Granny cos you cant go into a lair alone when you are just 3 )
November 4th, 2014
Good to see Reginald having some quiet time in the "green stuff". I'm looking forward to the next "amusing" shot too. Oh and after some research if found this looks quite good on black.
November 4th, 2014
Glad to see vaginal is back!
November 4th, 2014
I am finally getting a few moments to look at this. I like that Reginald is out of focus... it makes him look "authentic." I am finding the thread very funny. Thanks for the dose of levity. It helps my day.
November 4th, 2014
Now I know what kind of dinosaur he is . . . a "STALK"-a-saurus! Bah ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! Definitely not cute, though. :)
November 4th, 2014
My class loved this one, super fun
November 4th, 2014
@bellshanghai2014 Pleased to hear it, thanks
@juliedduncan Thanks very much - far from cute!
@rosiekerr Pleased to be of assistance and thank you very much
@janiskay Yes...quite so ;)
@karlow75 Thanks very much - the next "amusing" shot should be up any minute now...
@denisefuller NEVER go in to a lair alone...
November 5th, 2014
November 5th, 2014
