Another musically inspired shot, and again from Chris Cornell, but this time a song called 'Enemy'. Somewhat disturbingly, spellcheck wanted to call this shot "Silencing the Enema." This particular song is from the album 'Scream', where he ditched his guitar and trademark sound...but I still liked it...and silencing an enema would be nigh on impossible.
Taking my time to untangle the wires
And stare into my sanity
Dropping the hammer and pulling the trigger
I know now the bullet is me
I am the enemy, silencing the enemy
I am a confirmed and certifiable nutbar with a penchant for skulls, bones, blood, guts, fire and anything slightly peculiar and mostly bizarre. I also...
You should SO silence the enema. Quick change it. Nice emotional shot. You rocka the selfies, my friend. I enjoy seeing what you come up with next. I've got some up my sleeve, just need the energy to pull them off.
@amandal Thank you very much - the last thing I want or need is an enema! I have a few more ideas...but the energy at the moment is my real enemy as well!
I think you did mean enema! You did not get your 'a's and your 'y's muddled up but something else got muddled - your imagination and ideas are kind of scrambled?
@juliedduncan Actually, very calm today...although to be fair this shot "hit me" yesterday while walking the dogs and listening to music, so that could explain it - and thank you as always
I think what really expresses rage in this image is the extreme, even violent processing - it's that which shocks... it's getting darker over your way Graeme and I find that worrying.
@graemestevens I should clarify.... Texture of the tape..... And I guess I should have said lighting. Whatever, I'm exhausted. I'm good for very little right now. :-)
@eyeamlisa Ah, I see...perfect sense ;) @voiceprintz Thanks very much and yes, you're probably quite right ;) @ukandie1 Thanks very much indeed :) @annied I've been that way all day! @susale Thanks very much - much appreciated @andrewkru Thank you very much :) @ceilidh Thank you kindly nice lady
@annied It always does...a cement mixer truck arriving at the neighbours house at 5am does not. @roseolivia Thank you very much - that would be a traumatic experience! @lisatown Thank you so much - I'd love to see others set ups but sadly mine is just an iPad app called Softbox and an open window...although sometimes I use a great big 2000w lamp from the shed...blinding, hence the constant frown...
@jess1204 Thank you very much :) @scolgs Thanks very much :) @jaynspain I've been caught out by that as well...quite off putting when I think "excellent shot" and up with "excellent shit".
....and, madness....and, insanity.....and, bottled anger.....you do all of those very well....along with wonderful low key self portraits. This is disturbingly good!
@maggiemae No, I definitely meant enemy...how are they scrambled?
@blueberry1222 Thanks very much :)
@amyleewinfield Thank you very much :)
@vignouse I'm actually quite chipper today...but thank you very much :)
