We had visitors last night and as a consequence I find my lacking in the inspiration department, so here for your consideration is the view from our lounge. I often wonder why we chose to live here when every view that we have is simply awful and induces stomach cramps followed closely by projectile vomiting.
Why I Hate My Job, Reason 437: Call outs on a Sunday morning because some intellectually challenged individual attempted to break in to the office and we are so hilariously short staffed that there is no one else to call. My standard reply to the security company has become "Well, I'm drunk but I'll get there one day"
I am a confirmed and certifiable nutbar with a penchant for skulls, bones, blood, guts, fire and anything slightly peculiar and mostly bizarre. I also...
Too bad about that view. It does make for a smashing B&W though. When my DH knew he was going to leave his last employer (he now works for me.) he played a game for over a year: What can I do to get fired? The answer was nothing ~ That and he has too much integrity to do anything really bad. He did wear a kilt to a nuclear disaster exercise the week before he resigned, though. That got him 'written up' for not wearing proper safety gear.
@aecasey Thanks very much - In the other direction there's an enormous mountain (hiding today) @julzmaioro It's a hard life...and thank you @bigugly That's all I do every day... @melston I'm on the hunt for something better but you're right, until that time comes (which it will) I just have to keep playing along....liking the idea of the kilt though
you are spoiled, this is just a wonderful view without even making an effort. My husband is carrying 18 kg and tramping in your area this weekend. to see this.
@amyleewinfield Thanks very much :) @tabarlett Thank you very much - are you sure your don't want my job? @yaorenliu We are are spoiled, very much - hope he enjoys it, there's not much to be seen of the mountain today
@pinkpaintpot Thanks very much indeed :) @rosiekerr Thanks, it is a wonderful view. We used to take in boarders but they all left needing therapy. @888rachel It's awful isn't it? @jetr Thank you very much :) @pusspup It's just awful, but we make it through somehow @annied Thank you lady - it's the only response that they are worthy of.
This is an awful view. I can see why it induces vomiting. The NZ countryside is notorious for being terrible. And it is very inconvenient when work calls you in and you are terribly drunk. Who knows, next time someone breaks in they may have the courtesy to burn it down.
@karlow75 In which case I shall take the camera...and watch it burn with a glint in my eye @spanner done and done. @northy There's always a bright side I guess...
Today is today and I am waiting for the new one - you may say - and I think you are as you are reading - what a hide she has when she has not posted one yet - well to that I say pertwoee - or something similar
:)
@julzmaioro It's a hard life...and thank you

@spanner done and done.
