Sorry folks, I went back to the beach. This was taken this morning after a meeting at the Oakura Surf Club Rooms...this new job seems to bring meetings in unusual places but that's fine by me, variety is, after all, the spice of life...and it would have been rude of me not to take a photograph of a log with it's own special happy face.

I love it! Of course I just spent June trying to find faces in strange things like driftwood logs so I was trying to see something much more abstract than what you actually have here.
So very cool. That bit of wood at the top looks as if it could be a very distorted image of your goat's head, or sheep's head, or whatever it is. :) Superb moody sky.
Really amazing clarity and tones. The "happy face" (ironically, that is perfect) just pops right out. The twists in the driftwood are tremendous. What a great place to go after a meeting.
